Large Country Garden
PROJECT INFO: Barn Conversion
LOCATION: Stone Buckinghamshire
A large half acre site with a generous granite and limestone terrace, raised beds, pergola, perennials and grasses.
A substantial terrace for this property was designed to accommodate a large number of guests as well as provide spaces for dining and relaxation for the clients. A solid oak pergola with wisteria and jasmine encloses the dining terrace that has been surrounded with raised brick beds with built in seating.
A curved path runs through the garden leading to the highest point of the site with views to Waddesdon Manor. The planting comprises an orchard of ornamental cherries. Catalpa and hornbeam as well as shrubs, perennials and grasses add further interest.
