Contemporary Country Garden
PROJECT INFO: Contemporary country garden.
LOCATION: Stone, Buckinghamshire
This individual new build house in a village location had a garden comprising just lawn and paving. A contemporary approach was taken resulting in a garden with a strong geometric grid as a ground plan.
A deck was built over the existing paving, a set edged path runs through the planting beds leading to the rest of the site.
Large planting blocks edged in sets create impact, a planting palette of white, silver, blue and purple was used with the odd splash of orange for a bit of fun.
A diagonal line of evenly spaced silver pear runs through the garden, toning beautifully with the new garden building commissioned by the client.
