Rill garden
PROJECT INFO: Period property
LOCATION: Ballinger, Buckinghamshire
Period property in the Chilterns with a letterbox water spout connecting to the existing pool via a water rill.
The water from the spout falls into a rill that zig zags 15 metres through the site to a pool near the house, cutting through a path to the main terrace allowing people to step over the water on their journey through the garden.
Multi-stem cornus kousa combined with perennials and grasses create a soft natural feel. Wonderful bespoke iron gates in a tulip design have been added to the entrance to the garden.
