Large village garden Buckland
PROJECT INFO: Modern House Village Location
LOCATION: Buckland, Buckinghamshire
Large garden in village location. The existing garden lacked any definition and was overgrown with a inappropriate shrubs and trees.
A generous paved and composite deck is positioned close to the house with built in planting beds providing visual interest. Four sets of steps link the terrace to the garden.
Clipped yew cubes combined with perennials form the backbone to the planting by the house. A Portuguese laurel hedge and five Pyrus chanticleer mark the boundary between the more formal garden and the remainder of the site.
A grid of Cor-ten steel edged beds planted with grasses, trees and perennials mark the end of the site.
