Minimal Garden with pool
PROJECT INFO: Period house
LOCATION : Whaddon, Buckinghamshire
The clients required a new garden in a minimal style that incorporated water. A level change over the site was resolved by terracing the garden into three zones.
A pool was placed centrally, raised beds on the boundary line add interest. All the walling within the garden was faced with slate, giving the garden texture, it contrasts beautifully with the paler greys of the granite and gravel.
Planting of box balls and bamboo with ferns creates a contemporary look. The main entrance and smaller side garden of the site were also redesigned.
