PROJECT INFO: New Build House
LOCATION: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
This small new build garden has been transformed from a patch of sloping lawn to a crisp, contemporary outdoor room with a courtyard feel.
Three distinct 'floating' levels were constructed to create more usable flat spaces, stepping stones through planting link the spaces together and a gravel path creates a secondary route through the garden.
For neatness paving areas were faced with stone cut to size, no retaining walling was requires resulting in a crisper, neat finish.
The boundary fencing was stained black, and a contemporary water feature has been incorporated. A planting scheme comprising purples, whites and yellows adds year round visual interest.
